2nd November 2024 - Commeration Stone Deverell Hall

On Saturday 2nd November at 2PM to 4.30PM Deverell Hall celebrated with all those in attendance the passing of 100 years of history. The event was very well supported by all the regular hall hirers, the public and representatives from Havant Borough Council. It was an amazing day, and we would like to share a selection of photos and comments from that day.

During the summer holiday period, and during Half Term week in 2024 we have been busy decorating and refurbishing areas in the MAIN HALL, ENTRANCEWAY and BACK ROOM areas of the ground floor. The works were carried out by the maintenance team and were long overdue.

Deverell Hall is now starting to populate the bookings diary for the year 2025. After the dates for all groups have been entered online, we then make sure that all groups check their dates, and confirm they are correct.

We are always busy which is great. We have over 20 regular hirer groups who use the facilities each week and at weekends. If you are looking for availability for casual hire, then we advise you to contact us early.

There may be various reasons why we could not help you with your booking enquiry. We do our best to help most users of the hall, but perhaps there was a prior booking for the date/time you wanted. Or the type of request was not available at our hall. We will advise you of other places to try if we cannot help.

Sorry, but the short answer is no.

Yes we have wi-fi access, with wired access points available in some parts of the building. Hirers can use either 2G or 5G fibre optics with speeds up to 400MB.
