Boris Johnson has confirmed that England's so-called "Freedom Day" - initially planned for 21 June 2021 - will likely go ahead on Monday 19 July. However, Deverell Hall want to assure hirers that we are taking a measured response to this recent announcement.

It's not a free for all just because of the recent announcements.

21st June 2021 was supposed to hopefully see an easing of restrictions. With recent concerns about the Delta Variant, the UK Government have put a hold on some businesses and what happens next. At Deverell Hall, we are still open, and whilst there are some restrictions in place, for the majority of regular and casual hirers, we have put together an article outlining our expectations for your meetings and party users.

As we enter a new year in 2021, Coronavirus (Covid-19) is still very much with us. New variants of the virus have continued to develop, and although vaccines are now being rolled out across the world, the reality is this will still take time to try to combat this awful disease.

We are always busy which is great. We have over 20 regular hirer groups who use the facilities each week and at weekends. If you are looking for availability for casual hire, then we advise you to contact us early.

There may be various reasons why we could not help you with your booking enquiry. We do our best to help most users of the hall, but perhaps there was a prior booking for the date/time you wanted. Or the type of request was not available at our hall. We will advise you of other places to try if we cannot help.

Sorry, but the short answer is no.

Yes we have wi-fi access, with wired access points available in some parts of the building. Hirers can use either 2G or 5G fibre optics with speeds up to 400MB.
